We had a big snow storm after Christmas. I love snow when we are all home and do not have to go anywhere. Carter went out and helped Daddy shovel and played with his new sled.
While Carter and Daddy were outside, Mason and I hung out and played with his new toys. This is Mason in his new Pats sweatsuit from Nana.

Christmas
Christmas morning was so much fun this year. Having a two (almost 3) year old puts the magic back into Christmas. Both kids slept in on Christmas morning, meaning, they slept until 6:45 instead of 6:00. They were wiped out from Christmas Eve. When Carter woke up I asked him if he heard the jingle bells from Santa's sleigh the night before. The first thing he wanted to do was to go down stairs and see if the reindeer were still there. We then went to check if Santa ate the cookies. Carter finished off everything Santa missed.
Opening stockings. You will notice the cookie Carter is eating at 6:45 a.m.
Mason's new Sophie.
New remote control car.
Toys from Grandma
Mason's first Christmas.
New dinosaurs
New sled.
Gift from Uncle Scott. This was a big hit!
Helping Daddy put it together.
We went to Uncle Brian's for Christmas dinner. Here is Carter playing with Rylie's new roller coaster.

Christmas Eve
This is the first Christmas we have had with Carter where he really got the whole concept of Santa coming. It was so much fun this year and both kids had a great Christmas. We had Nana, Uncle Brian, Auntie Erin, and the kids over for Christmas Eve. Uncle Brian and Auntie Erin got this cool car for Carter to ride.
All the cousins Christmas Eve...everyone is just a little excited.
Cookies for Santa. We were going to leave carrots for the reindeer too, but we made them food and sprinkled it outside for them and Carter thought that would be enough.
Santa came!

Christmas Prep
We had a very busy weekend getting the house ready for Christmas. Carter and I made and decorated cookies. He helped roll out the dough and use cookie cutters to cut out the cookies.
Later that day we went and bought our Christmas tree.
Dave and Carter put up outdoor lights.
Sunday night when it was dark we took a walk around the neighborhood to look at all the Christmas lights. Carter is really excited about Christmas and loves Christmas lights.

Hot Chocolate
Carter had his very first cup of hot chocolate. We went to Burdick's in Harvard Square. Of course Carter loved the hot chocolate.
