Hike

One of the best things about our house that we didn't even consider when we bought it is that it is walking distance to the Middlesex Fells Reservation.  Its amazing that while living 6 miles from Boston we have over 2,000 acres of forest, waterways, and hiking trails out our back door.  We try to take advantage of it as much as possible.  We went for a walk on Sunday.  Carter still fits in the backpack, but being about 34 pounds, I think its getting heavy for Dave.  Although Dave claims its not. 

Play Date

We went to our friend Janna's on Saturday and got all the kids together to play. The kids have so much fun together and are all so well behaved. Its also great to see our friends!!

Hair Cut

Carter still does not have a lot of hair. He has only had two haricuts in his life.  It was getting a little out of control though so Dave gave him his third haircut this morning.

Road Trip with Mommy

Carter and I went to Plattsburgh on Saturday to visit Grandma, Papa, Uncle Scott, and Lyla.  I had to go to a bridal shower so Dave stayed home to do some work around the house.  Which was great because he cleaned up the yard after the wind storm and fixed the bathroom door.

Boston Children's Museum

We went to $1.00 Fridays at the Boston Children's Museum this past weekend.  We went with our friends Chris, Jenn, and Andrew.  Its a great deal to get in for $1.00 and makes for a fun Friday night.

Finally nice weather!

With the time change its actaully light outside until almost 7:00.  Now that the rain has stopped we can go back to playing outside after work.  Today Carter rode his tricylce and we went for a walk around the neighborhood. 

Mr. Potato Head

Carter got Mr. Potato Head for his birthday.  He was scared of him at first.  We have no idea why, but he would not let me take him out of the box and kept him in the closet.  He then became curious about him and carried him around the house in the box calling him "hot potato."  Today has been a really rainy day so we finally took Mr. Potato Head out of the box.  We had a blast playing with him!!

Camera & Grampy

I lost my camera for a few days, but luckily found it before we bought a new one! The pictures on it are from a recent visit with Grampy! 

Grampy recently got a new dog Ruby.  Carter was a little afraid of her at first, but then had lots of fun playing with her!

Grampy also got Carter a birthday present.
