Carter and Mason

Mason has started to wear some of Carter's old baby clothes. Whenever I put them on Mason I think its crazy that Carter used to wear them. Here are some comparisons.

Beach

We went to Wingaersheek beach on Sunday, which is my absolute favorite beach around here. Its beautiful and the water is warm and shallow which is great for Carter. There are also lots of rocks and tidepools which was fun for Carter and me!

End of Maternity Leave

Today was my first day back at work and Mason's first day of daycare. It was sad dropping my baby off this morning, just has hard as it was with Carter. Carter did assure me that he would take good care of his brother and teach him how to walk. I am going back to work part time which is great. I will be home with both kids every Monday and Friday for the foreseeable future so I'm working on establishing a daily routine for Carter when we are home.

We spent a fantastic day in Ogunquit and Kennebunkport on Thursday.

After dinner we went down to the water for a walk by the water.

Roger Williams Zoo

Dave has had the week off so we have been taking many day trips. We went the Roger Williams Zoo on Wednesday to see giraffes, elephants, and many other animals. I am typically not a fan of zoos, because I feel bad for elephants being forced to live in Rhode Island but it was fun and Carter loved to see the animals. It was actually a pretty decent zoo.

Boston

This past Sunday we were tourists in our own city. We spent the day at the commons and the public gardens.

We ended the day by getting dinner at the Gaslight. Dinner was great and Carter was so good that we got dessert. Carter loves cake, as you can see below.
