It has been really cold with a TON of snow lately. We were trying to find something fun to do indoors and our friend Jess told us about Mall Tots at the Liberty Tree Mall in Danvers. So when it was -2 degrees outside I thought it would be a good day to check it out. We met our friend Jess and Henry at the mall to play. Carter thought it was fantastic and we had a great time.
Carter was really good at T-Ball, maybe its just because I am his Mother, but I was really impressed.

Mason Mason Mason!
Carter gets a lot of press on here simply because he is so busy! Mason is growing up too fast and continues to be the best baby ever. He is "talking" all the time now and started clapping a few days ago. He says Da Da all the time and is always smiling. He is happy despite the fact that he continues to have a blocked tear duct which causes his eye to be goopy and swollen at times. We are scheduled to have the procedure done to unblock it sometime in April. The doctor insists its not a big deal but I'm nervous because he will have to be put under for it. It could still clear up on its own before then so that is what we are hoping for. He has also been very congested lately and not feeling so well. So I'm hoping all his ailments clear up soon.

Childrens Museum
Grandma got us a membership to the Boston Children's Museum. It was the best gift ever and we have already been able to use it a few times. Carter and I went to the museum this afternoon while Mason and Dave hung out at home. Here are some pictures from our recent trips.
They have a theatre at the museum and we happened to be getting there when the show started. It was a play about Arthur and it was cute. Carter loved it. I was surprised at just how much he loved it. Here he is enjoying the show.
At the end of the show they announced they were going to be performing the Three Little Pigs at the next show and that was the best news he heard all day. We went back for the second performance and Carter was selected to participate on stage. He was really excited to be picked and ran down to the stage. He was going to be a little pig. Once he was on stage he got really scared and decided he didn't want to do it, so we just watched the play. Here is Carter in his three seconds of fame.
He looks so scared. I thought when he left the stage he would want to leave the theatre, but he didn't. He just wanted to go back to his seat and watch. He loved this show even more. He huffed and puffed and said "not by the hair of my chinny chin chin." We had a great time.
THANKS GRANDMA!!

"Tree House"
Carter has recently started playing in his closet. He loves to hide in there and he calls it his "back yard tree house." We were storing a lot of stuff in his closet, so to make more room for him to play, Dave cleaned it out today. He wanted to stay in his pajamas today, which was fine with me, and play in his room. When I went upstairs to see what he was doing this is how I found him.
He was setting up a sleep over with his friends.
We got him a flashlight for the closet too and Dave and Carter stayed in the closet with the door shut and played shadow puppets. It was the best Sunday morning.

Success!
Carter is officially out of diapers and using the potty!! We took him out of diapers on December 31, 2009 and have not looked back. It has been much easier than I anticipated, after day one he has yet to have an accident. We just needed to wait until he decided he was ready. So happy to never buy diapers again!!
