Sleep Over

Carter had his first sleepover with his cousin Rylie this past weekend. Rylie's Dad (Uncle Brian) dropped her off on Saturday afternoon. We went to the zoo then came home for dinner. After dinner the kids put their PJ's on and we had popcorn and watched a movie. Sunday morning we made waffles and went to the Children's Museum. Rylie was a perfect house guest. Carter was so excited to have her spend the night. He had a hard time going to bed, but other than that it was a successful visit.

Mason's Eye

Mason had the procedure to unblock his tear duct today. He was a little trooper and such a good boy as always! Here is Mason the night before we had to be at the hospital. He couldn't eat or drink anything after midnight, so he is enjoying his last meal unbeknown to him!

He was a little grumpy in the morning because he was hungry. Once we got to the hospital he was really happy. I think the change of scenery helped. Here he is getting ready to go in. They should not have to make hospital gowns that little.

I went in the operating room when he was put under with anesthesia and it was sad. The procedure was really quick though. When he woke up once he was able to nurse he was happy again. The procedure has a 90% success rate so we are hoping it worked!

U.S.S. Constitution

Last Saturday Carter and I decided to get out of the house for awhile and get some fresh air. He had been really sick and I though getting out of the house might help. I took him to see the U.S.S. Constitution. It was a good place to go because its close, free, and outside. Carter loved seeing the ship but he wasn't quite 100% so it was a quick trip.

Spring Please!

We have had a rough couple weeks with illness and I am ready for winter to end. Poor Mason has been really congested and Carter is now sick as well. We had been saying that it is amazing that Carter never gets sick, but unfortunately he did. I got a call at work on Thursday saying Carter was sick. While on my way to daycare to pick him up I got another call saying Mason had a fever. Carter has been sick all weekend and is still not himself. Hoping he is better tomorrow!
