Carter's 5 Year appointment

Carter had his 5 year doctor appointment today.  He talked to doctor's ear off! He was 45 inches and 46 pounds. 

Breakfast/Aquarium/Play

We spent the day with the Costas on President's Day.  We went out to breakfast, went to the aquarium, and back to our house to play.  It was a great day.  Mason and Henry are about 5 months apart and they are just starting to play together and its very cute! 

We put Dave in charge of the kids.

Not one toy went unplayed with.

Valentines Day

Blizzard 2013

We had a huge snow storm this past weekend.  We got about 26 inches of snow plus or minus. Carter loved the snow.  He was outside for hours at a time and helped Daddy shovel.  Mason wasn't as big of a fan, but we finally got him outside Sunday night and he decided he loved snow too!

We had a hawk outside our window.  It was very cool.  I gave Carter the bird book to figure out what kind it was and he identified it as a red tailed hawk.  I'm about 99% positive he is right!

My baby turns FIVE!!!

We just got done celebrating Carter's fifth birthday.  Five was an emotional birthday for me!  On February 3rd I was hugging him and said this is the last time you will go to bed as a four year old, I got a little teary.  This next year will bring many exciting things for Carter including Kindergarten.  I just can't believe how fast its gone. 

We had Carter's birthday on February 2nd.  This is the first party he had "school friends" at.  It was good, a little crowded, but the kids had fun.
