Beach House

Uncle Brian & Aunt Erin got to use an amazing beach house for the week, so we crashed for a night.  It was fantastic and the kids had so much fun staying with their cousins. 

Weekend-Outside the Box Festival

Boston is having a 9 day festival called Outside the Box.  It is on the Common and there are lots of different show, concerts, etc.  They have a lot of stuff for kids too.  We went to the festival on Saturday and we had a great time.  We saw a puppet show, a magic show, and a percussion show.  I could not believe how much Carter loved it all. He was laughing through all the shows and really enjoyed watching them.

Police Horses

 We took the kid to Daddy's office to use the bathroom and change clothes after going in the frog pond.  Carter is on the phone pretending to be working.

Weekend Round Up-Aquarium

We have been on the go a lot the last couple of weekends.  This past weekend was nice because we stayed local and relaxed.  On Thursday night we got to go to a members only event at the New England Aquarium.  I picked the kids up from school and we went right into Boston to meet Daddy and have dinner.  We had to wait for a table so we walked around the waterfront for awhile. 

White Mountains-Day 3

On Sunday we went to Cannon Mountain and went up the tram.  Once at the top there is a really nice walk that goes around the top and took about 20 minutes or so.  The views were great.  After the Tram, we went down the Kancamangus and stopped at Otter Rocks to go swimming.

Santa's Village/Franconia Trip Day 1 & 2

We went to the White Mountains again this year with the Corliss family.  We planned on going to Franconia Notch State Park on Friday and go to Santa's Village in the afternoon.  When you go after 3:00 you get a return pass for the next day. The weather forecast was pretty bleak and when we went to the The Basin it was pouring, but as we were leaving the sun came out and it turned out to be a hot sunny day, we had the same great weather the rest of the weekend with a few quick rain showers mixed it.  It turned out so great.  The other bonus was I think people must of been scared off due to the weather, because the park was empty, especially Friday afternoon. The kids had the run of the place! Going to a theme park with other kids was so much fun, they all had a great time figuring out who was going to ride with who.  After the park when we went back to the cottages we cooked dinner and made a camp fire while the kids played with each other and some of the other kids staying at the motel.  It was a great trip, we are going to hopefully do a repeat of it next year, but go to Storyland.  

After we went to the Basin we went to Polly's Pancake House for lunch.

After lunch we headed to  Santa's Village for day 1 and then to the cottage for dinner.

 

On Saturday morning we went to Santa's Village for a full day.
