Menemsha Hills & Aquinnah

We did a hike this year at Menemsha Hills and then met everyone else we were travelling with in Aquinnah to do the light house and have lunch.  It was a really nice morning and a surprisingly delicious lunch.  There were a lot of windows you could order take out from and we figured it would be bad expensive food, but it was actually reasonable and delicious.  Apparently a lot of the placed there have been written up in travel magazines for the food. 

 

My Toi/Cape Poge Beach

We took Dave's Mom on the Chappy ferry and went to My Toi and to the beach.  The kids were crazy at the gardens and just ran around.  We were the only ones there so it was fine and it was nice to let them run!

 Mason lost his snorkel within 2 seconds of walking in the water.  He LOVED it and it was swept away by the ocean.  He was heartbroken. 

Right Fork Diner

We went to breakfast at the Right Fork Diner twice this year.  It was fun beacuse we got to eat outside and watch the bi-planes take off.  The kids really liked it. 

Edgartown

Dave's Mom came to visit on the vineyard for a few days and we went to Edgartown and had lunch when she arrived and just hung out back at the cottage when we got home. 

Cinema Circus

I have been wanting to take the kids to Cinema Circus for the past two years and we finally made it this year.  It was really cute, they have pizza, face painting, kids activities, and a little show before they bring all the kids into the theatre for a series of short films from around the world.  The kids loved it and had a really great time.
