Pumpkins!

We have really been hitting all the fall activities this year.  We were lucky enough to carve pumpkins with one of our favorite families the Corlisses and we carved some pumpkins at home as well.  The kids are super excited for trick or treating, almost as excited as I am.

More Fall Fun

We have had a great fall with some pretty great weather.  This past weekend we went to the annual "pumpkin fest" at the Flaws house and went to "Boo at the Zoo" with the cousins. 

Weekend Recap

This past Saturday was a great fall day.  We got our pumpkin, did a corn maze and a haunted maze, and then we went to the Mystic River Celebration. 

 

 They made a bat cave at the Mystic River celebration and the kids made their own bats and hung them up inside.

Curriculum Open House

Carter's school had a curriculum open house last week for just the parents to attend.  We got to meet his teacher and see his classroom.  The teacher had the kids draw a picture of themselves and answer some questions about themselves so the parents could guess who their kid was.  There was  also a picture the kids did with their hopes and dreams for Kindergarten.  Carter said he wanted to learn how to read a book.
