North Point Park

We decided to check out a new park on Sunday and had lunch.  We went to North Point Park in Cambridge. The kids thought it was great because you can watch the Duck Boats enter the water and wave at them going by.  It also has some pretty cool views of the Zakim Bridge.  It was a good day and after the park we took Carter to his second favorite lunch place, Burger Dive.  He likes it there because they have chocolate shakes.  When we were at the park we told him we were not getting shakes today.  He didn't say much and in the car on the way to the restaurant he asked if he could order his own food.  Of course we said yes, because we are encouraging him to do this when we go out.  I said "what are you going to get?" After a pause, he said, "I'm not telling you."  Clearly because the plan was to order the shake.  We thought this was funny, so he did get the shake, but did share with his brother.

This is not a great picture, I just cannot get over how big Carter looks in it

More Pumpkins & Halloween

In addition to the pumpkin we carved earlier we also carved the two pumpkins we had at home.  We had a tremendous amount of Jack o Lanterns this year.
Mason had no interest in pumpkin carving and sat outside on the steps.
