Mason's Birthday

Mason recently turned four years old.  He continues to be the best kid ever.  He is adorable, sweet, and funny.  He also has the best imagination of any kid I have seen.  He will sit and just play in his room for hours with his toys.  I love that he would rather play with toys then watch a movie.  The IPad is a different story.  He always wants to play the IPad.  He is also a night owl.  We always put both kids to bed at 7:30, Carter is asleep in 5 minutes, Mason will stay up in his room playing until 9:00 or later sometimes! No matter how often we go up and tell him to go to bed, he continues to play in his room.  I suspect he will always be a night owl.  Here are some pictures from his party.  We had a great day and Mason has a lot of fun!

Carter's Memorial Day Show

Carter's school had a Memorial Day Show.  It was so cute.  The kindergarten sang Yankee Doodle Dandy, God Bless America, and You're a Grand Old Flag.

Mother's Day Weekend

We had a great Mother's Day weekend.  We went to Mason's show at school on Friday evening.  We ran into the family of Carter's best friend Sam (Sam has a little sister at First Steps) and they came over to our house after the show.  On Saturday and Sunday we had beautiful weather and went to the beach.  The kids love the beach and I think we will be spending a lot of time there this Summer.

Opening Day!

Carter is in Little League this year and Dave is an assistant coach.  Carter LOVES baseball, he is so excited about it, loved playing, and will not take off his hat.  I think he also really likes that Dave is helping out coaching as well.  Medford has a big opening day for Little League.  There was a parade, a BBQ, and bounce houses.  It was a lot of fun.  The following day we had our first game.  Cater made a diving catch of a ground ball on the field and the whole crowd was pretty impressed, so he was very happy.
