Fall Hike

Carter wanted to go for a hike in the woods so this past Sunday we went for a hike right after breakfast.  It was a cold day but felt good to be outside.

Ipswich River Wildlife Refuge

One of my favorite places to go is Ipswich River Wildlife Refuge (MA Audubon).  It is so beautiful, there are tons of trails, a play area, a grotto, and an observation tower you an climb.  The birds are crazy, there are so many and they eat right out of your hand.  Very fun experience.  I took the kids there on Veterans Day and Tom came with the girls too. 

Fall

Well is officially fall and cold.  We like to get out as much as possible when its nice out.  The kids like to help pick up leaves and we will go to the park as long as the snow stays away!

Museum of Science on Election Day

I took the kids to the Museum on Science on Election Day.  Carter had the day off from school so I took the day off.  We voted and then went to the museum and then met Dave for lunch.  It was a great day.  The kids had fun at the museum.  We say a 4D movie and got to design our own "grabbing claw" and test it out. 

Halloween

We had a great Halloween this year.  The kids had both Grandma and Nana down for Trick or Treating and we had a great time. Mason also had Fall Festival at school that we stopped by for but only stayed a short amount of time.
