Lyla's Visit

This past weekend by brother and my niece came to visit! We had a great time. Carter loved being with Lyla. He says her name really well and followed her everywhere. Saturday morning we went to the Children's Museum. Dave, Carter, Lyla, and Scott getting on Arthur t.v. Construction Zone
We went to the Dew Tour to see some of the things Scott works on, but we didn't really get any good pictures. We had BBQ in the afternoon and the kids played together.

Scott brough his dog Ralph to visit too. This was great for Carter. Carter LOVES dogs (from a distance). He gets a little wary when they get too close, so it was good for him to spend time with Ralph. Here is Carter and Ralphie!

Weekend Recap

We had another busy weekend with Carter. Saturday morning I took Carter to a Kindermusic class along with his friend Carter Z. They both had a great time and hugged each other good bye at the end. They are super cute together.

We then went to a 3rd birthday party for Cailyn at our friends the Smiths house. They have lots of fun toys including a bouncy house that Carter loved!

On Sunday afternoon we took Carter to zoo the He liked looking at the animals that he could actually see. It was a very hot afternoon, so most of the animals were asleep.

4th of July

For the 4th we went to a BBQ at our friend's house. As usual all the kids had a great time! Here are some pictures.

Maine

We went on a family vacation to Ogunquit, ME last week. Unfortunately we had terribe weather, but we still had a good time. Carter is like is Mom and loves the ocean. We had many walks on the Marginal Way and did get to the beach a few times, even though it was COLD!!

Finally on our last day in Maine the weather was much better. We went to a bakery for coffee and breakfast and went to the beach for the morning.

Vacuuming

Carter loves to help around the house. He puts his own laundry in the hamper and he likes to vacuum.

Father's Day

We had a Father's Day party at Carter's school. There was a pie eating contest for the Dads, which Dave participated in, but sadly lost.

Then Carter's class "performed" Take me Out to the Ball Game. Carter did a great job. He really loves music and all the attention.

Daddy really loved the performance. Carter and Daddy watched the other kids after he was done.

Unfortunately the weather on Father's Day was awful, so our plan of going to the zoo didn't work out, but we did have brunch at The Beehive. Carter fell asleep on the way to the restaurant.

After brunch we went home and played inside because of all the rain.

Boston & BBQ

We took Carter into the city for the afternoon and went to the park on the waterfront in the North End. He enjoys being outside and people watching.

Last weekend we had a BBQ at our house. We had a nice day and Carter got to see all his friends.

Carter also had a good time dancing with Cailyn.

Finally, Carter is starting to get some hair. These are some pictures of what happens when we let Daddy do Carter's hair.
