Spring Please!

We have had a rough couple weeks with illness and I am ready for winter to end. Poor Mason has been really congested and Carter is now sick as well. We had been saying that it is amazing that Carter never gets sick, but unfortunately he did. I got a call at work on Thursday saying Carter was sick. While on my way to daycare to pick him up I got another call saying Mason had a fever. Carter has been sick all weekend and is still not himself. Hoping he is better tomorrow!

9 Months

Mason turned 9 months yesterday. We have his 9 month appointment coming up and I'm looking forward to seeing how much he weighs.

Dentist

Carter had his first cleaning at the dentist today. He was so good and I think he actually liked going to the dentist. He also talked the dentist's ear off!

Peek a Boo

Book Update

I like to keep track of the books the kids are reading. Mason has a favorite book now! We pick this book up and he gets a smile on his face and laughs. He also turns the pages and gets very excited. I finished reading this book the other day, when it was done, I started another book. He whined when I was reading a different book and as soon as I started reading this book again he was back to smiling and laughing. He knows what he likes!

Carter has been into the Berenstein Bears. I have a ton of Berenstein Bear books from when I was little that I (or my Mom) kept. I picked them up from my parents house awhile ago and they have been a big hit. Carter also really likes Richard Scarry's Cars and Trucks and Things that Go. He likes looking for goldbug and looking at all the funny vehicles.

Carter's Birthday

Our little man turned three yesterday! This is a picture of him on his very last day being two.
The day of his birthday we had Uncle Brian, Aunty Erin, and the kids and Nana over for pizza and cake. Here is Carter's cake.

Playful Paws

Carter, Mason, and I had so much fun during the day on Carter's birthday. We have been going to the Playful Paws playgroup at the Franklin Park Zoo every Friday morning. It is the best program for little kids. They learn about an animal each class and get to meet an animal. They also sing and do a craft. Carter really loves it. Our first class we met a Macaw and our second we met a chicken. Carter got to feed the chicken worms which was really fun. We have met some people in the class and all have lunch together and go look at the Gorillas and other animals that are inside afterwards. It was a great thing to do on his birthday.
