My favorite place to go on the Vineyard is Menemsha. We went this year to have dinner and see the sunset. The kids had fun looking at the lobsters and playing at the beach. While we were there the craziest storm rolled in and it was really beautiful. Thankfully, just as fast as it came in it went out and we were again left with a beautiful night. Seeing an 8:00 sunset with kids who go to bed at 7:30 and who spent the entire day at the beach is a little tricky, but worth it!

Chappaquiddick/Mytoi
We went over to Chappaquiddick again this year and stopped by the Mytoi gardens on the way to the beach. We thought it was going to rain, but turned out to be a decent beach day.
Beach, beach, and more beach!
We had such a great time at the beach this year. We had great beach weather and the kids had their cousins to play with. The kids were so happy to have "the cousins" as they call them at the beach. We also had masks, beach toys, and boogie boards to use this year. With the masks the kids found so many shells and crabs at the beach that it was extra fun. This year we went to Long Point, Cape Poge, State Beach, and Menemsha. Long Point was one of the coolest beaches I have ever been to. One side was ocean and the other was a fresh water pond, so you could go back and forth from salt water to fresh water. The only downside was that the surf was way too rough on the ocean side for the little kids, so we spent most of our time at the freshwater pond. It was great swimming though, ocean bottom with fresh water is amazing!
Martha's Vineyard 2012-Cottage
We just finished our second trip to the vineyard. This time we went with Brian, Erin, and the kids. We stayed in two cottages that were next to each other with a shared outdoor patio. It was the perfect set up and the kids had fun playing together.

Crane Beach
We bought a beach pass to Crane Beach this year. The kids (and us) love the beach so its nice to have. Mason's BFF Henry also has a pass so its great to go to the beach with him too.
