Carter's Mother's Day School Performance!

 Carter had his Mohter's Day performance at school.  Here is some video of him.

Rockport

It was a really nice day on Sunday and HOT, so we decided to take a quick trip to the coast.  We went to Rockport to walk around and look at the ocean.  This is a picture of the town

We went to the little town beach for a little while.  It was past Carter's nap at this point and he was exhausted so we did not stay long.

This is Carter at the end of a long hot day with only a 45 minute nap in the car.  He looks pretty pooped, but he had a great nights sleep!

Favorite Book Update

Carter continues to be a huge fan of reading.  The first thing he said when he woke up this morning is that he wanted to read a book.  I like to remember what books he likes at certain times in his life.  He now "reads to us" and has most of his favorites memorized so he can recite them.  We read this every night before bed now.  This was also a favorite a long time ago and he rediscovered it recently. 

These books are also resurrected favorites.

We really need to start making trips to the library.  I'm not a huge fan of the Medford library but have access to multiple surrounding town's libraries with our card, so we are going to start checking some out!

Today we went to the Nantasket Beach and rode the carousel.  The weather stayed nice for us.  We thought it was going to rain but the it turned out to be a nice day.

Mud Puddles

Carter and I went to the park today.  Everything was really wet from the rain and Carter decided to jump in mud puddles.  He had a blast and got really dirty.  I didn't have my camera at the park, but here is what he looked like when we got home.

Easter Weekend

We had a very busy Easter weekend.  We had Friday off and Uncle Brian came to visit.  While he was here Carter had a big chocolate lollipop from Grandma. 

On Saturday Uncle Brian, Aunty Erin and the kids came to visit and we had a cook out.  Carter LOVES his cousins.  He has so much fun with them.
