Ipswich River

Dave was away in Florida for one week for work. On Saturday the kids and I decided to go on an adventure and we went to Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary. We had never been there before, although it was very overcast it was still warm out, so it was nice to be outdoors. We loved it and had a great day. We went for a walk and ate lunch outside. Carter said "I wasn't sure I'd like this place, but I love it." "This is the best day ever and the best lunch ever." Makes me so happy he likes being outdoors. This is an Audubon property and the birds there were incredible. Tons of Chickadees, tufted titmouses, and nuthatches that would eat out of your hand. There were also ducks to feed. We will definitely be coming back here.

New Years Day

New Years day was nice and sunny.  Carter and I took a walk together in the woods.  Carter had hot chocolate and I had coffee.  It was really nice and we took a long walk. 

After our walk we picked up Mason and Daddy and went out to lunch at Burger Dive and got the kids a milk shake. 

Mason was wiped out on New Years, refused to take a nap, and ended up falling asleep on Daddy at about 5:00 and went to bed for THE NIGHT.  Carter went to bed at 6:00 and slept until 7:00 a.m.!!

New Years Eve/Daddy's Birthday

We had a little birthday celebration at home for Dave's birthday.  I took the kids to buy him a present, Carter got him a street hockey stick and street hockey balls so Dave could play hockey with them. 

 

For New Years we went to Tom and Kate's with the kids and did a little party with them.

Grandma got us a pass to the aquarium for Christmas, yay! On Saturday we went to visit the seals.

Day After Christmas

Dave and I took the day after Christmas off to be home with the kids.  We had a really relaxing day and just hung out and played with new toys! The kids were wiped out from Christmas and slept until 8:00! That is unheard of in our house.
