Disney on Ice
Over Carter's February vacation someone I work with gave me free tickets to take the kids to Disney on Ice! We did not realize how good the seats were and we were right on the ice which was so fun! The kids and I took the T into Boston, went to Dave's office, went to the show, then met Dave out for dinner. Mason was so tired, he fell asleep on me at the restaurant, which honestly, made for a really peaceful dinner!

Kids of Friends
On our trip home we were lucky enough to see two of my oldest friends and their kids! Amy came over with Andrew and Ethan and Kirsten came over with Kellen. All boys and all adorable!!
Lake Placid
On our recent trip to Plattsbugh in February we brought the kids and my Mom to Lake Placid. Carter was really into watching the Olympics this year, so it was really fun to go see where they once were. I swear Mason was on this trip with us and had fun despite the lack of pictures of him, Carter is just more willing to get his picture taken!!

Happy 6th Birthday Carter!
I cannot believe Carter is six. Six seems old, no longer a toddler, but a regular kid. This is him the last day as a 5 year old.
I decorated the kitchen with balloons and a happy birthday banner so when he came to breakfast he would see it. I also gave him a present from Grandma. Finally, I made his favorite, cinnamon rolls for breakfast with candles!
He said he had "the best birthday morning ever." Hopefully he had the best birthday at school too.
Tanglewood Marionettes
While Dave was away this past weekend I took the kids to see a puppet show at Tufts put on by the Tanglewood Marionettes. The kids both loved it more than I thought they would. We had so much fun and they got to go backstage after the show to see the puppets up close and meet the puppeteers.
